Job Description
- Managing a team of up to 6 developers
- Designing intuitive application workflows and user interfaces using WPF and HTML5
- Designing and implementing middle-tier RESTful Web APIs
- Excellent skills in developing, profiling and troubleshooting SQL Server schemas and stored procedures
- Optimizing applications for performance
- Following Agile/SCRUM practices, and making suggestions for continuous improvement in our development processes
- Writing and reviewing technical design specs
- Advising teams on new technologies and techniques
- Mentoring other developers and performing code reviews
- Influencing teams on ways to improve their software development practices
Qualifications
Required
- Expertise (8+ years) in either C# (preferred) or Java
- Experience with enterprise architecture design patterns
- Experience designing, implementing and interacting with RESTful Web API Services
- Strong experience of developing and profiling SQL Server databases
- Knowledge of source control systems and branching strategies, preferably Git or TFS (TFVC)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to write good quality and testable code
- Strong experience and understanding of ASP.Net Core, Entity Framework (or other ORM frameworks) and OData
- Experience in a scaled agile framework preferred
- Application of SOLID principles, TDD, and other engineering quality practices
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles
