Overview
Our client is a leading national drinks wholesaler based by Southampton airport, looking for Warehouse Operatives for the twilight shift which starts at 6pm Monday to Thursday and 4pm Friday.
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing
- Using LLOP (training given)
- Boxing up stock
- Loading bottles for delivery (heavy lifting)
The Late Shift focuses on accuracy, stock integrity and strict adherence to Health & Safety standards. The role involves handling a range of products including bottles, cases and kegs, requiring a high level of manual handling.
Schedule
Induction will be held on Friday 26th June 17:00‑19:00. Following the induction, the first work week will be on 09:00‑17:00 days, with the shift starting the week after.
Qualifications
- Reliable and committed individuals with a strong work ethic
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
- Access to reliable transport (public transport links to the depot are limited)
- A counterbalance or reach forklift licence is preferable but not essential
- Ability to handle heavy keg picking after training
- No health or fitness conditions that could be adversely affected by heavy manual handling
