£13.50 per hour – Permanent Position – Monday to Thursday | 06:00 – 16:30

Our client, a growing and successful manufacturing business in Peterborough, is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join their expanding production department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily targets.
• Ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor and improve productivity, safety, and performance.
• Support training and development of production operatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Team Leader (TL) or Line Leader (LL) role within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Good understanding of production processes and quality standards.

Desirable Skills

• Experience operating Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machinery.
• Food manufacturing engineering background.
• Experience as a VFFS Machine Operator within a manufacturing environment (food or non-food).
