Sprayshop Supervisor – Production Environment
We are working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Sprayshop Supervisor. The Opportunity
Reporting into the production leadership team, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day performance of the spray operation. You’ll play a key role in maximising throughput, improving efficiency, and ensuring products meet exacting quality standards.
Collaboration is central to this role—you will work closely with planning, maintenance, and wider production teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production planning to review and prioritise workloads
- Drive high-quality standards across all outputs, addressing issues proactively
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to build a flexible, multi-skilled workforce
- Support onboarding and training of new employees within the department
- Plan and organise weekly workload to achieve optimal productivity
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance overall efficiency
- Work cross-functionally to minimise downtime and eliminate waste through corrective and preventative actions
- Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained to a high, safe standard
- Promote and enforce a strong health & safety culture at all times
- Oversee materials and stock within the department, ensuring compliance, correct usage, and proper disposal practices
- Contribute to wider operational initiatives and continuous improvement activities
About You
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a finishing, coatings, or similar production environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across teams
- A commitment to quality, safety, and operational best practice
Salary & Working Hours
- £17.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Early finish every Friday
