Solutions Architect

Salary: £70,000 – 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and telecommunications.
• Cloud technology experience, including platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Solid understanding of cyber security fundamentals.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in bid and proposal writing.
• Experience gathering requirements.
• Capability in risk and dependency management.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Defence sector experience is particularly valuable.
• Experience with secure networks and boundary security is particularly valuable.
• Experience in service provider environments is particularly valuable.
• Experience with architecture governance and frameworks such as TOGAF is particularly valuable.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance, with a minimum of 5 years of UK residency.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to understand their requirements.
• Design secure technical solutions.
• Present recommendations and architecture designs.
• Support sales engagements.
• Contribute to public and private sector bids.
• Produce technical proposals and bid responses.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture.
• Guide delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions follow governance and security standards.
• Design systems for sensitive government and defence programmes.
• Ensure secure‑by‑design principles are followed.
