Senior Engineer

Salary: £60,000 – 65,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience with C++ development
• Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong understanding of software design, testing, and verification
• Confident in different Engineering environments
• Happy working across industries including Maritime and Defence
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Bonus Skills: Python, Visual Studio, PowerShell, GUI/UX

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of software development across the full lifecycle
• Develop innovative products while supporting and enhancing existing systems
• Liaise with external stakeholders including customers and suppliers on software-related matters
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams
