WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your room, maintaining the high standards of learningand care that Woodentops is known for
  • Line-manage and develop a small team of early years teachers, providing mentorship,guidance and regular feedback
  • Bring our story-led curriculum to life — planning and delivering rich, EYFS-alignedexperiences that draw on your knowledge of child development
  • Build strong, consistent relationships with children, families and colleagues across thenursery
  • Monitor and maintain standards of observation, key-person practice and safeguardingacross your room
  • Work closely with senior leadership, contributing ideas and supporting the widersetting

ABOUT YOU

  • Full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education or theChildren’s Workforce (essential)
  • At least one year’s experience in a room leader, senior or supervisory role within anursery
  • Deep knowledge of EYFS, child development and safeguarding
  • Confident, calm and organised — you lead by example and bring people with you
  • Excellent communication skills with children, families and colleagues
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
