Design & Studio Manager

Overview

Exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Design & Studio Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready for a hands – on position leading and mentoring the design team, overseeing projects from concept to completion and working closely with the founder to help develop processes and culture that will drive the business forward. The role would be best suited to someone who is genuinely excited by having a pivotal role within a growing studio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the design team, supporting their professional development
• Efficiently plan and manage the workload of the studio
• Lead and oversee high end residential and commercial projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest creative and technical standard
• Hold regular 1-2-1’s with our founder to align on priorities and progress
• Work closely with our founder to develop studio processes and drive operational excellence
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers and contractors

The ideal candidate

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in interior design, ideally across residential and commercial projects
• Proven experience managing projects and leading a team
• An exceptional design eye with meticulous attention to detail
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communicator who builds great relationships with clients and colleagues
• CAD proficient (essential)
• Self – motivated, proactive, and genuinely excited to contribute to a growing business
• A full UK driving licence
