Overview
Amazon Kindle team seeks an innovative, results‑oriented, customer‑centric team player to drive the evolution of how customers buy and read books. This fast‑paced, entrepreneurial role will contribute to Amazon’s innovation and allow you to influence across multiple companies and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert relationship manager and communicator, working closely with publishers up to C‑level to ensure customers can find, download, and enjoy books.
- Responsible for publisher‑level metrics around selection, subscription participation, and profitability.
- Become an e‑books expert, stay abreast of industry trends, competitive environment, and reader needs, and innovate accordingly.
- Collaborate with leaders across the Kindle organization locally and globally to develop new services and products.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and automation.
- Strategic management of key publishers; define category strategy/vision and execute it with stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in procurement, planning, e‑commerce, strategy, consulting, or finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with top management (internal and external).
- Ability to influence and negotiate with various stakeholders (internal and external).
- Strong data analysis and P&L management capabilities.
- Fluent in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital, e‑commerce, and/or logistics.
