DevOps Engineer – AWS – SC Cleared

Requirements:

• Active SC clearance
• Strong commercial experience working as a DevOps, Platform or Cloud Engineer
• Deep practical experience with AWS
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with live, business‑critical cloud services

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure within AWS
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Support the deployment and operation of Kubernetes‑based platform services
• Create and maintain automation tooling using Python
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation and ongoing operation of a large-scale core cloud platform within a major UK government environment. The role will sit within a highly technical cloud engineering function responsible for building secure, resilient and scalable platform services used by multiple digital delivery teams. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is comfortable working in complex, security‑conscious environments and can contribute quickly within an established cloud platform team.
