Requirements
- We have strong technical architecture experience, including designing secure, scalable and user-centred digital services.
- We have experience producing high-level designs, translating them into practical delivery plans and taking them through governance or assurance boards.
- We have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across complex, multidisciplinary teams.
- We have experience supporting ERP implementation, ERP design, integration or migration activity.
- We have experience designing integration architecture between ERP platforms and existing systems or services.
- We understand data flows, business processes, technical dependencies and delivery risks within large-scale transformation programmes.
- We can meet the security clearance requirement for SC clearance, including having been present in the UK for 3 out of the past 5 years.
Responsibilities
- We define and champion the technical strategy for services, ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals and DDaT standards.
- We lead technical specialists across multiple projects, solve complex architectural challenges and own the technical design of services.
- We design and assure secure, open-source and user-centred systems, including integration, interoperability, cloud quality, security and performance.
- We provide technical governance, present designs to boards such as the Technical Design Authority, and collaborate with architects across DBT to ensure alignment.
- We horizon scan for emerging technologies, contribute to the architecture community, mentor peers and support capability development within the profession.
