As ESTAR Delivery Manager, you’ll transform lives by leading employment and skills programmes for those who need them most; shaping pathways into sustainable work and learning and building partnerships that offer life‑changing opportunities. This is a full‑time role with an 18‑month fixed‑term contract, which may be extended subject to funding.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the coordination, monitoring, and reporting of a portfolio of ESTAR programmes, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and performance targets
- Oversee and support Project Coordinators to effectively deliver and coordinate ESTAR programmes, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and consistency across projects
- Work closely with delivery partners, accommodation providers, and other services to build capacity and ensure employment and skills provision is accessible to some of our most vulnerable residents
- Collaborate with DWP and local housing authorities to support individuals in transitioning from unemployment into sustainable employment
- Identify and coordinate appropriate support across a wide range of needs, from confidence building, social interaction, and basic skills development through to professional qualifications and work experience opportunities
- Identify gaps in employment support provision for this cohort, working with funders and providers to develop new schemes and approaches to address these needs
Qualifications
- Can plan and organise varied workloads, managing competing priorities
- Have experience in line management and supporting team development
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and present information clearly
- Analyse and present complex data clearly
- Have working knowledge of employment and skills support particularly for vulnerable people
