Identity Engineer (SSO / Entra ID)

Salary: £45,000 – 70,000 per year

Requirements

• We require proven experience delivering identity changes in enterprise environments.
• We require hands‑on experience supporting SSO migrations, updates, or remediation.
• We require experience working in hybrid identity environments, both cloud and on‑premises.
• We require experience supporting testing, cutover, and go‑live activities.
• We require experience working within a project or programme delivery team.
• We require experience following structured change and release processes.
• We require strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory in on‑premises and hybrid environments.
• We require strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• We require experience with Single Sign‑On technologies including SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• We require understanding of identity attributes and authentication flows, including UPN and email address changes.
• We require working knowledge of certificates and PKI as they relate to identity and SSO.
• We require the ability to troubleshoot authentication and access issues.

Responsibilities

• We will provide hands‑on delivery support across identity, authentication, and single sign‑on changes as part of a large merger programme.
• We will implement identity updates and support SSO remediation activities.
• We will enable Day 1 readiness activities.
• We will support testing, cutover, and go‑live tasks.
• We will troubleshoot authentication and access issues.
• We will work with hybrid identity environments spanning cloud and on‑premises systems.
• We will contribute within a structured project or programme delivery team.
• We will follow agreed change and release processes to deliver identity‑related changes.
