Desktop Engineer
Manchester (3-5 days on site per week)
£33,000-38,000 per annum

We are actively looking to secure a Desktop Engineer to join Experis.
Job Purpose/The Role:
The Desktop Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining end-user computing environments. This role ensures that all user devices and workplace technology are operating effectively, providing reliable support to internal users and contributing to a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for end-user devices, resolving issues and service requests in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and associated equipment
- Support users with day-to-day technical issues, both remotely and on-site
- Manage user access and ensure systems are set up appropriately for business needs
- Maintain and update device builds and configurations
- Assist in the deployment of new devices and technologies
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support the setup and maintenance of peripheral devices
- Ensure systems are maintained in line with organisational standards and policies
- Work with other IT teams to resolve issues and support wider technology initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and issues resolved
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation
