The Role
The Digital Workplace Services team plays a key role in the provision of services throughout the University. The team is responsible for all endpoints, including the Windows Operating System, anti-virus and encryption solutions, virtual desktops, application packaging/distribution, software procurement and license management. The role holder will participate in the day-to-day support of University systems using standard tools. The role holder will also have the opportunity to participate in project work and to work in cross-team activities within Enterprise Platform Services.

Salary
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
