Senior Project Manager – Construction (Renewable Energy Project)

This role is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of a large-scale construction project in Honolulu. This is a high-profile, fast-paced development requiring strong leadership, logistical planning, and on-site execution expertise.

The project involves a specialised form of rooftop renewable energy for a 140-ft tower. This role will suit a hands‑on Project Manager with deep experience delivering complex urban construction projects, ideally within constrained or high‑density environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for a major construction project in Honolulu
  • Oversee site operations in coordination with a full-time Superintendent and project support staff
  • Manage project scheduling, logistics, staging, and sequencing in a complex urban environment
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Drive contractor coordination, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution
  • Maintain tight control of project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Provide regular progress reporting to senior leadership

Required Experience

  • Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects (e.g., high-rise, tower, or similarly complex builds)
  • Strong Knowle dge of Honolulu / Hawaii construction environment, logistics, and permitting landscape
  • Demonstrated experience with site logistics, staging, and constrained-space project execution
  • Ability to operate in a highly hands‑on capacity alongside site teams
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in engineering or technical discipline
  • Prior experience working on renewable energy or infrastructure-related projects
  • Experience working in island or remote project environments

Additional Information
