Senior Digital Engineer – Building Services

Bristol or Cardiff

£40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE) Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Senior Digital Engineer with a passion for delivering high‑quality digital engineering solutions within the building services sector?

Our client is a well‑established and highly respected engineering consultancy with offices in Bristol and Cardiff. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a talented Senior Digital Engineer to join their collaborative and forward‑thinking team.

The Role

As a Senior Digital Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery and coordination of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across a variety of projects. Working closely with engineers, designers and project teams, you’ll ensure digital models are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate high-quality Revit MEP models.
  • Support the delivery of BIM processes across multiple projects.
  • Carry out model coordination and clash detection using industry‑standard software.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to resolve coordination issues.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards and best practice.
  • Support the production and management of project digital deliverables, including COBie data where required.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Digital Engineer, BIM Coordinator or similar within Building Services.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
  • Experience of BIM coordination and model management.
  • Knowledge of clash detection processes (Navisworks experience desirable).
  • Understanding of COBie data and information management would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and within a team.
