Jelly Technical are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a long‑established manufacturing business with over a century of industry expertise and a reputation for producing world‑class, premium products. Responsibilities
- Respond swiftly to critical plant breakdowns to deliver effective solutions and repairs.
- Execute scheduled PPM routines and continually optimise them for reliability.
- Utilise Root Cause Analysis techniques to identify and address recurring technical issues.
- Share technical knowledge and handover details with engineers on alternative shifts.
- Maintain complete and accurate data logs within the CMMS.
- Adhere strictly to all site Health and Safety protocols, hygiene regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and the engineering shift lead regarding daily workloads.
Experience & Qualifications
- Apprentice trained or time served – multi‑skilled.
- Background as a maintenance engineer, electrical engineer or industrial electrician.
- Proven experience working within a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Solid awareness and practical understanding of industrial Health & Safety standards.
- Self‑motivated individual capable of working effectively on own initiative or within a team.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to business demands and seasonal fluctuations.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset.
Benefits
- Salary: £47,689 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance).
- Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights, 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am.
