We are looking for a Project Manager to lead housing related projects and programmes within the Climate Change service, with a clear focus on helping residents reduce their energy bills and improve the quality and efficiency of their homes. You will deliver housing improvement and retrofit programmes, working closely with partners to secure funding, provide practical support and achieve better outcomes for households across the borough.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with residents, deliver tangible results and make a real difference to people’s day to day lives. If you are motivated by achieving outcomes and improving support for households across the borough, this could be the role for you.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects that help residents reduce their energy costs and improve the quality and efficiency of their homes. Working across a range of housing improvement and retrofit programmes, you will play a key role in supporting households, particularly those most vulnerable, to access funding, lower their bills and live in warmer, more affordable homes.
You will manage a portfolio of projects and funding schemes, working closely with internal teams, partners and contractors to ensure programmes are delivered effectively and provide real benefits to residents. This includes securing external funding, developing and implementing initiatives and providing clear reporting and advice to senior managers and stakeholders.
We are looking for an energy efficiency or housing professional with a strong understanding of delivering practical programmes that improve homes and reduce costs for residents. You will be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and focus on delivering outcomes that make a tangible difference to people’s lives.
