Role Overview
Join us as a Relationship Director in our Corporate Retail Coverage team, where you will lead on managing a portfolio of high‑value clients while driving strategic new business development. Operating at a senior level, you will work alongside Corporate Directors and senior stakeholders to originate and negotiate complex opportunities, deliver sophisticated financial solutions, and deepen key client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and negotiate strategic, high‑impact deals to drive significant revenue growth.
- Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance; support analysis of client data and identify trends, insights and opportunities.
- Research industry trends, regulatory landscape and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
- Design customised solutions that address client needs and objectives, incorporating a range of bank products.
- Communicate value proposition, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms that benefit both client and bank.
- Provide guidance to clients on financial decisions, risk management and wealth strategies, and update on market trends.
- Assess financial, legal and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement mitigation measures.
- Document all client interactions, transactions and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability.
- Monitor client satisfaction, revenue and other metrics to evaluate effectiveness of relationship management.
Qualifications
- Track record of managing high‑value, complex client relationships, including engagement at C‑suite level.
- Advanced technical expertise and sharp eye for detail.
- Experience leading and negotiating strategic, high‑impact deals that drive significant revenue growth.
- Deep knowledge of industry trends, regulatory environment, and ability to structure bespoke financial solutions.
- Proven delivery record within payments and associated industries.
