We are recruiting for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Watford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional with experience in building services, facilities maintenance, or hotel engineering to join a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical and general building faults
Ensuring all plant, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard
Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments
Completing maintenance records and compliance checks
Supporting health and safety procedures across the site
Requirements:
Previous maintenance engineering or building maintenance experience
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical or general maintenance disciplines
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A flexible approach to shift work
