We are looking for someone with strong experience working on medium to large refrigeration systems, including DX refrigeration systems, chillers, chilled-water systems, and associated refrigeration plant.
Role Description
This is a varied role covering reactive call-outs, breakdowns, planned maintenance, fault finding, and some installation work. The right engineer will be confident working independently, dealing with customers professionally, and carrying out high-quality work across commercial and industrial sites.
We are looking for an engineer with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and pride in their work. The right person will be hard-working, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile when needed to make sure the job is completed properly. Quality of work is very important to us, and we want someone who takes responsibility and makes sure the job is done to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Reactive call-outs and breakdown repairs
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Fault finding on DX refrigeration systems, chillers, and chilled-water systems
- Electrical fault finding and diagnosis
- Working on medium to large refrigeration systems and associated plant
- Some installation and project work when required
- Completing job reports and communicating clearly with clients
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience as a refrigeration engineer
- Good knowledge of medium to large refrigeration systems
- Experience with DX refrigeration systems, chillers, and chilled-water systems
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- A strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Pride in delivering high-quality work
- Willingness to go the extra mile when required
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for jobs
- F-Gas certification
- Full UK driving licenceGood communication skills with customers and colleagues
