An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Commissioning Home Manager to lead the launch and development of a new adult social care service in Wolverhampton.

The Role
As Commissioning Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful setup, registration, occupancy growth, compliance, and overall management of the service, ensuring it becomes a safe, welcoming, and high-performing environment for the people it supports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning, mobilisation and successful launch of a new care service
- Oversee CQC registration processes and maintain full regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement operational systems, policies and quality frameworks
- Recruit, onboard and develop a skilled and compassionate care team
- Create a positive, values-led culture focused on dignity, independence and person-centred support
- Manage budgets, staffing levels and service performance effectively
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders
- Drive occupancy growth through excellent service delivery and reputation building
- Monitor quality assurance processes, audits, safeguarding and risk management activities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve outstanding outcomes for those receiving support
- Ensure the service consistently exceeds regulatory and organisational standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Home Manager, Commissioning Manager or Senior Care Manager
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, adult social care legislation and best practice
- Proven experience leading high-performing teams within residential, supported living or community-based care services
- Demonstrable experience commissioning, developing or growing care services is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional, compassionate and person-centred care
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and service performance
