Job Description As a Receptionist, you will help keep daily operations running smoothly by handling calls, managing bookings and maintaining accurate records. Working closely with teams onsite, you will contribute to a collaborative environment and act as a reliable point of contact for a range of queries. This role offers the opportunity to use your initiative, adapt to different situations and build strong working relationships. You will also support health and safety practices, ensuring everyone on site is informed and cared for Key Responsibilities Deliver a warm, professional front of house experience across reception areas Welcome visitors, contractors and staff, ensuring a smooth arrival process Manage visitor sign in, badges and access requirements in line with procedures Handle calls, messages and enquiries in a timely and helpful way Provide clear directions and general information to visitors and colleagues Book and coordinate meeting rooms, ensuring they are set up and ready for use Maintain accurate records, logs and contact lists to support operations Support site processes such as deliveries, audits and visitor documentation Build positive relationships with onsite teams and client stakeholders Promote safe working practices and follow health and safety guidance Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a welcoming and approachable manner Confident communication skills, both written and spoken Good organisation and time management, with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook Flexible and adaptable approach in a busy environment Awareness of health and safety practices in the workplace Positive attitude with a proactive and helpful mindset Good standard of general education and communication ability Ability to build relationships and respond to a variety of enquiries The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
