Working specifically on the Dwr Cymru Welsh Water M&E Direct Delivery Frameworks, managing water industry construction and engineering projects – ensuring full CDM compliance across our sites. The Role Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. A company van will be provided.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for managing M&E installations in accordance with Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards and industry regulations.
- Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by the site teams.
- Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans.
- To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment.
- To coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
- Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients.
- Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst peers.
- To act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation.
- Experience in managing M&E sites.
- Experience in a civil / utilities environment.
Qualifications
- Gold Card CSCS
- SMSTS
- Appropriate trade certificate/qualification
- Good client management and communication skills
- Desirable: Black Card CSCS
- Desirable: Water industry experience
- Desirable: EUSR
- Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, confined space
