Overview

Wealth Sales Consultants are a key part of UK Sales Distribution with responsibility for ensuring that a panel of accounts is managed effectively and opportunities for new business maximised. They proactively contact advice businesses to establish new business relationships, support the work of Strategic Relationships where applicable, and back sales and marketing campaigns. Success is measured by the amount of new business generated from these accounts and through sales activity with new advice firms. A Wealth Sales Consultant will own a pre-defined panel of accounts, market Quilter products to these accounts and others, and support company initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build a good understanding of the panel accounts, their product mix and gaps, and identify the key contact within each.
  • Identify and progress sales opportunities for increased new business across supporting and current non-supporting advice firms.
  • Undertake a programme of marketing campaigns with accounts to maximise return.
  • Maintain accurate Management Information on these accounts.
  • Keep up to date on Quilter product developments and propositions.
  • Work with colleagues, proactively suggesting ways to deliver an enhanced return.
  • Contribute to a strong and successful Wealth Sales Consultant (WSC) Team.
  • Achieve key performance objectives.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge of the UK Platform market is preferred.
  • Previous financial services telesales experience is preferred.
  • A good understanding of Quilter’s key products and services is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent system is desirable.
  • Proven telesales and relationship management skills are preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with a wide network of colleagues to achieve role aims is essential.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills are essential.
  • Good attention to detail is essential.
  • A good understanding of the UK’s products and propositions, and a track record of continuous personal development is desirable.
  • Strong experience of working as a team player in a telesales environment where overall team success is preferred.

Qualifications

  • You must have attained QCF level 4 to be considered for this role.

  • Please note travel is involved across the South West & Wales as well as regular travel to the Southampton office.
