An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Farm Manager to join a well-established farming enterprise specialising in breeding, livestock management, and general farm operations. This role is ideal for someone with a farming or agricultural background who is looking to develop their skills and progress into a management position within a well-established agricultural business.
Working Hours
- 40 hour week
- Every other weekend
- Additional hours are required during busy periods
Key Responsibilities:
- Feeding and caring for livestock
- Milking cows
- Loading and unloading of livestock
- General farm maintenance
- Supporting reproductive management processes within the farming operation
- Supporting the Farm Manager in the day-to-day running of the enterprise
- Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm biosecurity
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous farming, agricultural, or livestock experience essential
- Practical, hands-on approach to work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working with livestock in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Ambition to develop into a Farm Management role
