Loading Shovel Operator

We are looking for an experienced loading shovel operatorto join a busy and growing company in Ilkeston.

This is a fast-paced, busy and physically demanding role, so you must be prepared for hard work and be happy working in a yard environment. In return, the company offers a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent prospects for the right person.

Rotating shifts:

• 6:00am 2:00pm
• 2:00pm 10:00pm(Monday to Friday)

Duties include:

• Operating a front shovel loader
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Moving materials around the yard
• Working with rubble, stone, sand, ash and other waste materials
• General yard duties and housekeeping
• Following health and safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Previous front shovel loader experience
• Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Flexible and willing to help where needed
• Must be available for overtime when required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
