Customer Adviser
Salary: £15,281 – £16,815
About the Role
Join a team that has earned Best Regional Building Society recognition for nine consecutive years. In a face‑to‑face customer‑focused environment, you will engage customers daily, listening to understand their financial needs and goals.
Daily duties include:
- Opening and setting up tills at the start of the day
- Making customer appointments
- Processing customer transactions at the counter
- Assisting with the opening of savings accounts
- Cashing up and closing at the end of the day
Hours: 21 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9am – 5pm, plus Saturdays on a rota basis (typically until 12pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience, building relationships with customers.
- Work closely with branch colleagues to support the needs of the Society.
- Participate in a 12‑week tailored training programme and ongoing development conversations.

- Excellent people skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Strong listening skills and an ability to empathise.
- A natural team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues.
- A desire to learn and develop new skills in financial services.
