Student Experience Team Member

Location: CardiffPay Rate: £13.77 per hourContract: Temporary ongoing until September with the possibility of extensionHours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern:7:00am to 3:00pm2:00pm to 10:00pm

You will also be required to work 1 weekend in every 3, with 2 weekdays off in lieu during that week.

Our client is looking for a Student Experience Team Member to join their busy student accommodation team in Cardiff.

This is a varied role where you will be responsible for helping create a positive living experience for students while ensuring the smooth day to day running of the accommodation.

Duties will include:

  • Providing friendly, day to day support to students living in the accommodation
  • Sorting and managing incoming mail and parcels
  • Responding to student queries and resolving issues promptly
  • Carrying out regular safety and welfare checks around the building
  • Supporting with student check ins and check outs
  • Assisting with cleaning duties during checkout periods
  • Completing administrative tasks including emails, letters and updating booking systems

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive and proactive approach to work
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience within customer service, hospitality, reception, accommodation or administration would be advantageous but is not essential.
