Pay: £13.84 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks
Pertemps Isle of Wight are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in Ryde for experienced Production Operatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy practical, hands-on work in an industrial environment and are looking for long-term employment with pay progression.
The RoleWorking as part of a busy production team, you’ll be involved in the manufacture and finishing of high-quality metal products.
Duties include:
- Operating industrial machinery safely and efficiently
- Using equipment such as metal grinders, sandblasting machines and other production equipment
- Finishing and preparing manufactured products
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Working to production targets
- Following strict health and safety procedures
We’re looking for people with experience in:
- Manufacturing
- Production
- Engineering
- Metal fabrication
- Construction
- Industrial labouring
- Machine operation
- Workshop environments
If you’ve previously worked as a Production Operative, Machine Operator, Factory Operative, Construction Labourer, Engineering Operative, Fabricator’s Mate or in any other hands-on industrial role, we’d like to hear from you.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or construction environment (essential)
- Comfortable working with machinery and power tools
- Physically fit and happy carrying out manual work
- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Available to work rotating shifts
