Morson are recruiting for Senior to Principal Ecologists to join our expanding environmental team based in the vibrant centre of Cardiff. You will work across a wide range of projects, gaining start-to-finish project involvement, responsibility and opportunities to help shape and grow our ecology services. Lead and deliver ecological surveys in line with British Standards and industry best practice Oversee protected species surveys, data collection and mitigation design Prepare high-quality reports including PEAs, EcIAs, species assessments and mitigation strategies Provide ecological support to multi-disciplinary project teams Attend and lead meetings, site inspections and fieldwork activities Contribute to the delivery of high-quality ecological outcomes across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, utilities, development and conservation
Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline Experience delivering ecological surveys and assessments Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, xkybehq planning policy and ecological best practice Experience preparing high-quality ecological reports Understanding of health & safety and risk assessment Proficient in report writing and data management (GIS beneficial) Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel If you’re passionate about ecology and want to be part of a growing, supportive consultancy environment, we’d love to hear from you….
