Thats why we were keen to hear from determined and motivated people like you to help us deliver on our promises Due to our business expansion, we are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. Our Senior Estimators work on civil engineering tenders, developing precise and competitive estimates for projects involving earthworks, roads, sewers, drainage, utilities, and reinforced concrete structures. Review tender requirements, focusing on scope of works, attending site visits and collaborating with the Bid and Operational Support Teams, coordinating with Estimating Buyer on material costs and subcontractor quotes. Prepare estimates for self delivery works and assess subcontractor quotes for specialist works. Draft bid assumptions, qualifications, and exclusions and identify project risks, compile risk register. Attend site visits on live projects to observe and discuss delivery of project in line with tender allowances. Expertise in civil engineering projects, with a focus on Clancy self-delivery works such as earthworks, roadworks, kerbing, footpaths, sewers, drainage, pipeline construction, concrete structures and utility installations. Proficiency in Excel and experience using pricing software such as Conquest, Causeway, Candy, or similar. Familiarity with key contract terms and conditions, including NEC 4 and JCT ICE, as well as an understanding of measurement methods, particularly regarding rate inclusions.
