The vital Electrical Technician role comes with a basic salary up to £51,484 + Bonus + Overtime + skills shortage allowance + other excellent benefits. Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Fault-finding and maintaining electrical assets including motors, switchgear, transformers, variable speed drives, HV plant, etc Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices Undertaking/assisting in plant developments/ projects Setting to work and supervising contractors Maintaining accurate maintenance records on the sites CMMS Ideally apprentice trained with an NVQ Level 3 minimum qualification in an Electrical related discipline A Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageousThe Electrical Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who has: Prior Electrical Engineering experience working in heavy process engineering environments such as Power Stations, Paper Mills, Top Tier COMAH sites, Refineries, Petrochemicals, etc. Experience working with relevant electrical equipment such as motors, generators, switchgears, etc. Salary and benefits of the Electrical Technician role Performance related bonus Monthly skills shortage allowance Overtime We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and comply with all relevant UK legislation.
