Motor Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician on behalf of a well-established and highly respected independent garage based in Broughton Astley. With a long-standing reputation for delivering excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship, our client is looking to add a skilled technician to their busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician seeking a stable position within a professional and supportive working environment. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs and MOT-related work to ensure all vehicles meet safety, legal and retail standards. You will play a key role in maintaining workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction and the high standards expected by the business. Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work to a high standard. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Undertake MOT testing and MOT preparation work in line with DVSA requirements. Carry out a variety of mechanical repairs including: Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation. Maintain tools, equipment and working areas in a clean and organised condition. Follow company policies and procedures at all times. Candidate Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent). Current MOT Licence. Qualified MOT Tester with up-to-date training. Desirable EV/Hybrid vehicle experience.
