Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Technician

Our client, based in East Sussex, is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join its specialist tax team. Manage a portfolio of bookkeeping and VAT clients, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. Complete bookkeeping assignments for a range of businesses using cloud accounting software. Prepare management accounts and support financial reporting requirements. Assist with accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. 35 years bookkeeping experience, ideally gained within an accountancy practice. Strong bookkeeping and VAT experience is essential. Accounts preparation experience would be advantageous. AAT qualified or studying towards AAT is desirable but not essential. Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Pension scheme. Regular social and team events.
