A leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team around Hampshire. Responsibilities of Managing Quantity Surveyor: Provide accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels Draft and update monthly CVRs, cost and commercial plans, and cash flow reports Compile upstream applications for payment through to final account settlement Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and financial accounting Liaise with clients and third parties on commercial issues including contractual change, claims, and additional payment Support all internal commercial processes, ensuring adherence to timeframes and compliance Identify and realise commercial opportunities whilst protecting the business from commercial risk Essential Requirements for Managing Quantity Surveyor: Previous experience in the construction industry in a commercial role Familiarity with IChemE and NEC forms of contract and knowledge of Construction Law Proven experience xkybehq in commercial management and subcontractor procurement Demonstrable experience of monthly forecasting and cost analysis Excellent communication, numerical, and IT skills including Microsoft Office CSCS card HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Experience working for a direct delivery contractor…
