Strategic Account Manager – ERP, Professional Services – Public Sector

Location: UK, Remote

Salary £60000-80000 basic & Good OTE

My client are a leading Business Transformation and Services Consultancy across the UK public sector are recruiting a strategic Account Manager to join their growing commercial team and own relationships with key clients within the Public sector, responsible for Cross and up sell ERP Focussed Transformation and professional services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building sales pipeline with existing Clients
  • Meet / exceed quarterly quota targets.
  • Manage sales cycle from identifying prospects, working with numerous internal teams to coordinate appropriate resources, all the way through closing the deal.
  • Manage and follow up on qualified leads.
  • Provide and guide prospects strategic vision to drive them toward their Consulting solution.
  • Execute on their Consulting’s consultancy sales methodology.
  • Develop executive and operational level relationships with target companies, promoting their offering and solutions, cultivating new opportunities

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable experience in sales-related account management ideally selling ERP related Transformation and Professional Services
  • Significant experience selling within the Public Sector and Higher Education market.
  • Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Able to actively engage in a consultative sales approach.
  • Must be articulate with strong writing, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent business-level language skills.
