I’m currently supporting a leading international law firm on the search for an experienced Business Development professional to join its award-winning Real Estate team in Leeds.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal BD professional looking to take on a broad, visible role within one of the firm’s largest and most successful practice groups.
Working closely with the Business Development Manager, you’ll support partners across Real Estate, Construction, Planning and Disputes, playing a key role in helping the team win new work, strengthen client relationships and deliver ambitious growth plans.
The role offers genuine variety, including:
• Bids, pitches and tailored client proposals
• Business development planning and campaigns
• Events and profile-raising activity
• Client targeting and pursuit initiatives
• Credentials, presentations and marketing collateral
• Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders across the business
This is a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive Business Development team where you’ll have the opportunity to become a trusted adviser to the practice and a genuine deputy to the Business Development Manager.
About You
You’ll ideally have:
• Experience within a Business Development or Marketing role in a commercial law firm
• Strong proposal, bid or pitch experience
• Excellent written communication skills
• The confidence to build relationships with partners and senior stakeholders
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
