Contract Structural Engineer (RC Frame Substructures – Rail)

g2 are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support RC frame substructure design for rail depot projects on a network rail framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design RC substructures (foundations, bases, retaining elements)
• Support depot and rail infrastructure projects
• Produce calculations, drawings, and technical reports
• Ensure compliance with Network Rail & UK standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, understanding the civils aspect too

Requirements

• Civil/Structural Engineering degree
• Strong experience in RC design & substructures
• Rail experience (Network Rail standards preferred)
• Familiar with Eurocodes & UK design standards
• Proficient in structural design software
