Processing Technician

Our Client, a Global Lloyd’s Broker, are now looking to expand their team with a Processing Technician. The Technician is responsible for the accurate processing, reconciliation, and settlement of premium transactions within a Lloyd’s Broker environment. This role ensures timely and precise handling of premium accounting activities across multiple classes of business, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners including underwriters, insurers, and clients.

Key Responsibilitie

• sProcess insurance premiums, return premiums, and adjustments in accordance with market practices and internal procedure
• sChecking and processing MRC Slips and Endorsement
• sManage bordereaux and statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy of dat
• aReconcile premium accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptl
• yLiaise with brokers, underwriters, insurers, and clients to resolve queries and outstanding balance
• sMonitor aged debt and credit, supporting collection and settlement activitie
• sEnsure compliance with Lloyd’s market requirements and internal control
• sMaintain accurate records within relevant systems and ensure audit trails are complet
• eSupport month-end and year-end close processes, including reporting and analysi
• sAssist with system improvements and process optimisation initiative

• ceA minimum of 2 years of experience in a Premium Technician or Technical Accounting role within a Lloyd’s Broker or London Market environme
• ntStrong understanding of insurance premium processing, including Lloyd’s and company market practic
• esProficiency in accounting and broking systems (e.g., Xchanging, DXC, Bureau, or similar platform
• s)Excellent attention to detail and high level of accura
• cyStrong analytical and reconciliation skil
• lsAbility to manage high volumes of data and meet tight deadlin
