The Role

You will oversee restoration and planned maintenance projects across the housing portfolio with the opportunity to take full ownership of projects from pre-start through to completion.

  • Managing projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Controlling costs, labour, materials, and subcontractor performance.
  • Conducting regular site visits and monitoring programme milestones.
  • Leading site coordination across multiple trades and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintaining site records.
  • Preparing and submitting tenders, valuations, and performance reports.
  • Attending pre-start meetings and acting as the key point of contact for project teams.
  • Driving quality standards and resolving technical issues or commissioning snags.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and additional works.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering social housing or planned maintenance projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction Health & Safety, risk management, and compliance.
  • Experience managing multi-skilled teams or subcontractors within construction, maintenance, or housebuilding.
  • Commercial awareness, including budgeting, pricing, and profitability of contracts.
