Cognisant has been appointed by a privately owned housebuilder to recruit a Senior Land Manager to the business.

Our client is a high spec, cash rich business with an established operational platform already in place, the company remains entrepreneurial, agile and opportunity led so this presents a chance to join at an early stage, help shape the regional strategy and play a key role in building the land pipeline from the ground up.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying, assessing and securing land opportunities
• Building relationships with landowners, agents and key stakeholders
• Negotiating acquisitions and supporting deals through to completion
• Working closely with the regional leadership team to support growth plans
• Supporting partnership-led opportunities where appropriate

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience within residential land buying
• Possess strong market knowledge and commercial awareness
• Enjoy a front-end, deal-focused environment
• Be comfortable operating with autonomy and taking ownership
• Be either an ambitious Land Manager ready to step up or an established Senior Land Manager seeking a more entrepreneurial environment
