The Role
You will join a growing landscape planning team at a key moment of expansion, with the opportunity to shape both projects and the wider direction of the discipline within the studio. You will play a central role across a varied portfolio, working closely with colleagues and clients while developing your own leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to landscape planning projects across a wide range of scales and sectors
- Prepare landscape and townscape character assessments, LVIA, and capacity and sensitivity studies
- Develop mitigation strategies and enhancement proposals for planning submissions
- Manage client relationships and support project delivery from inception to completion
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
Requirements
- You are a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
- You have 5 to 10 plus years of professional experience in landscape planning
- You have strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and EIA processes
- You are confident delivering LVIA in line with current guidance and best practice
- You are a clear and persuasive writer with strong analytical and communication skills
