Sales Manager – Capital Equipment, UK | Surgical Imaging / MedTech Scale-up
We’re a medical device company bringing a breakthrough intra-operative imaging technology to UK hospitals – and we’re looking ahead to a Sales Manager hire for the UK market later this year.
This isn’t a classic account management role. We need someone who knows how to open doors, sell capital equipment, and build genuine trust with surgeons – then roll up their sleeves to drive clinical adoption on the ground.
What you’d be doing:
- Selling capital imaging systems (six-figure deals) directly to UK hospitals, building and running your own pipeline
- Driving utilisation post-sale – working hand-in-hand with surgical and pathology teams to embed the technology into routine practice
- Leading training sessions in the OR, supporting live cases, and acting as the clinical and commercial face of the product in your territory
- Building relationships with KOLs, hospital management, and clinical teams to expand the user base
- Feeding market insight back to shape strategy and product positioning

What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years selling capital equipment / direct sales in healthcare or medtech
- A genuine track record opening new accounts and driving adoption, not just managing existing ones
- Comfortable in the OR and confident supporting clinical teams hands-on
- Thrives in a small, lean, fast-moving commercial team (we’re a scale-up, not a corporate machine)
- Happy to travel extensively across the UK
- Leadership potential – there’s room to build and grow a team over time
