We’re seeking a Principal Rail & Infrastructure Engineer to join an established engineering team delivering a diverse portfolio of rail and infrastructure projects across the UK. The Role
- Lead the delivery of rail and infrastructure engineering projects.
- Act as Technical Lead across multidisciplinary schemes.
- Manage project programmes, budgets and resources.
- Review and approve technical designs, calculations and reports.
- Support business development activities and tender submissions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and develop engineers and graduates.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practice.
About You
- Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE).
- Significant rail and infrastructure engineering experience.
- CRE(D) experience desirable.
- Strong technical design and project delivery capability.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach.
