Winsearch UK is proud to partner with a leading façade specialist in the North West, who are looking for a Project Director to lead the delivery of high-value façade and cladding projects.
This is a senior role within a specialist contractor known for delivering complex envelope packages, offering the chance to take ownership of multiple projects while influencing how they are delivered at a strategic level.
The role
You’ll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of façade projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on programme, within budget, and to a high standard.
This is a leadership position where you’ll be managing project teams, supporting delivery on complex schemes, and acting as the key link between design, commercial, and site functions.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the delivery of multiple façade and cladding projects
- Providing strategic oversight across live projects, identifying risk and intervening where needed
- Managing project teams and supporting senior operational staff
- Overseeing programme performance and ensuring smooth project delivery
- Coordinating design, procurement, and construction activities
- Working closely with commercial teams on budgets, variations, and overall profitability
- Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants
- Leading project reviews and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and health & safety requirements
- Driving continuous improvement across project delivery and team performance

- Strong experience within façade, cladding, or building envelope contracting
- Proven track record delivering large-scale or complex construction projects
- Experience managing multiple projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Solid commercial awareness within a subcontractor or specialist contractor environment
- Strong understanding of programme management and project delivery
- Confident managing senior stakeholders and client relationships
