Job Description:

YOUR NEW COMPANY

You’ll join a specialist ICT and telecoms consultancy that designs the structured cabling and security backbone for data centres.

You’ll work with major commercial clients on complex, business‑critical environments, as the company grows its security design capability to meet rising demand.

You’ll be based remotely anywhere in Europe, with any travel focused on key client or team sessions rather than routine office days, joining at a point where security design is becoming a core pillar of the business.

YOUR NEW ROLE

You’ll sit in a security design team led by an Associate Director, working alongside experienced ICT and security engineers on large projects for commercial and data centre clients.

You’ll translate client requirements into robust security concepts and detailed designs, then help ensure what’s built on site matches what you’ve engineered.

You’ll contribute to client and contractor meetings, survey and report on existing installations, and be a go‑to person for standards, calculations and technical judgment.

As you progress, you’ll take on more client leadership and ownership of full design packages.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

You’ll bring at least three years’ experience in security infrastructure design for commercial environments, ideally with exposure to data centres or other critical infrastructure sites.

You know how physical and electronic security systems fit into real buildings, and you’re confident turning briefs into coordinated drawings, specs and calculations that meet BS‑EN, health and safety and security best‑practice standards.

You’re comfortable with IT-based calculation tools, spreadsheets and design software, and either use Revit/CAD already or are ready to learn.

Desirables include experience with platforms like Lenel, C‑Cure or Prowatch, relevant security design qualifications, and work on international projects.

WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN

You’ll have a permanent, full‑time role with genuine work‑from‑home flexibility and the tools you need to do your best work.

You’ll receive a company pension, private medical insurance and remote‑friendly policies, plus occasional company events to stay connected to the wider team.

Because the security design function is still scaling, you’ll have real influence over how it operates and a clear runway to move up as the team grows.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW

If this sounds like you, apply directly with your CV and a short note on your most recent security design project.
