Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Field Sales Manager to join a dynamic and rapidly growing renewable energy business within a newly established UK group. This customer-facing role is ideal for a commercially minded sales professional with a passion for renewable energy and a proven ability to build relationships, generate revenue, and deliver exceptional customer experiences
As a Field Sales Manager, you will engage directly with homeowners across the region, providing expert guidance on solar PV, battery storage, backup power solutions, EV charging, and smart energy technologies. Combining consultative sales skills with a strong understanding of renewable energy solutions, you will help customers reduce energy costs, improve sustainability, and increase the value of their properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated territory, meeting with qualified homeowners to identify their energy needs and recommend tailored renewable energy solutions.
- Drive revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, from initial consultation and site visit through to proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Build strong customer relationships through a professional, consultative, and solutions-focused sales approach.
- Convert high-quality inbound leads while proactively generating new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and local market engagement.
- Conduct on-site assessments to gather information required for system design and installation planning, working closely with technical and operations teams.
- Collaborate with design, installation, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from sale through project completion.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecast performance, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Stay up to date with renewable energy technologies, market trends, and industry developments to effectively advise customers and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the business professionally within the local community, strengthening brand awareness and supporting long-term business growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in field sales, territory sales, or business development, ideally within renewable energy, home improvement, utilities, construction, or a related industry.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing a field-based territory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.
