We are seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to support a leading manufacturing business in Surrey on an initial 9-month contract, with potential for extension.

This role will suit a highly capable engineer with a broad background across multiple industries, bringing strong technical leadership and hands-on design experience within complex engineering and manufacturing environments.

Key Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience operating at Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineer level.
• Strong background in manufacturing, product development, and mechanical design.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through to production.
• Ability to lead technical activities and engage with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, defence, medical devices, industrial equipment, energy, robotics, or similar.
